Hi There, I’m Justin.

I have been designing and developing websites for over 10 years. I began using Microsoft’s Frontpage, but don’t worry I moved on a long time ago. I enjoy backpacking, making things pretty on a computer and learning languages.

Professional

I started my career working for a small local firm building websites for oil companies. Later I was offered a contract position by Sparkart LLC where I built websites for bands such as Linkin Park, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Madonna, Clay Aiken, Atreyu, Slipknot, Michael Bublé to name a few. After a few years I freelanced while traveling the world and have currently settled back in Canada working full time, primarily with content management systems for a large software gaming company.

Personal

I’m a travel addict. I lived for close to a year in Australia, where I met my lovely girlfriend, Vanessa, who is from Germany. Consequently, I lived in Germany for close to a year trying to get my head around the German language. I was enrolled in a VHS for over 6 months and really enjoyed my stay there. Ja, ich kann Deutsch sprechen.

For many years I played in a band called Midpoint where people actually let us play on the Warped Tour and open for bands such as Strung Out and Goldfinger. We even released a music video which was aired on Canada’s Much Music. Sadly those days are gone. What’s left of our music can be purchased from our most recent split cd on Downloadpunk.com.
